SYSCLS_DYNAMIC_SELECTIVE_LIST_CRITERION
This classification defines a criterion for a dynamic selective list on the client. Together with a SYSCLS_DYNAMIC_SELECTIVE_LIST implementation, it can be used to configure a dynamic selective list for a scoped meta property.
Meta Properties
| Name | Data Type | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| DYNAMIC_SELECTIVE_LIST | Guid | The dynamic selective list this criterion belongs to. |
| IS_MULTI_VALUE_STRING | Boolean | Indicates whether the dependency property contains multiple keys separated by ";". |
| DEPENDENCY_CLASS | Guid | The kind of object the items depend on; can be null. |
| DEPENDENCY_PROPERTY_NAME | String | The name of the property influencing which items should be available. |
| QUERY_CRITERION_NAME | String | The name of the offline query criterion corresponding to this object. |
| IGNORE_NULL | Boolean | Indicates whether null dependency property values should be ignored (TRUE), or whether only items with null keys should be found when the dependency value is null (FALSE). |
Description
A dynamic selective list criterion describes how an offline query criterion is used to find dynamic selective items. It connects the dependency value to the offline query criterion of a dynamic selective list.
For example, a dynamic selective list presenting cars could select its dynamic items by manufacturer. Depending on the property value specifying the manufacturer, only matching cars should be listed.
If each car object has a manufacturer property, a query criterion, or simply a meta property, can be configured on the dynamic selective list to search for cars by this property. The dynamic selective list criterion specifies the name of that query criterion.
The dependency property contains the value to filter by. The dynamic selective list criterion specifies the name of this property and the query criterion used to find the items, thereby connecting the value and the criterion.
The object containing the dependency property value is looked up in the ACM hierarchy. The closest parent, relative to the object where the user should be able to see the dynamic items, that has this property is used. Its value is then applied to the offline query when evaluating the dynamic selective list.
Additional configuration details are represented by the Meta Properties above.
